Aufgaben:
As Metrology and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer (Senior) for Products, you will work within the organization of Quality & Regulatory Compliance. Your area of responsibility is to actively drive and influence designs of new products. You communicate and collaborate with our international R&D, Marketing, Delivery and Support organizations to ensure that our products meet all published customer specifications according to applicable metrology standards and comply with Advantest internal requirements. In a team you will drive the company to a highly automated company based on statistic-driven decisions. Evaluate and establish metrology principles and facilitate the implementation for world-class design for calibration and performance verification processes, tools, and equipment to improve product cost, schedule risk and time-to-market. Participate in metrology industry activities that benefit Advantest and our customers. You develop, implement, and maintain relationships with 3rd party testing and certification organizations to provide tests, test programs, and test facilities that measure metrology compliance as well as providing training to internal product generation teams. You will own the responsibility for EMC compliance of our products. Develop and evolve EMC test plans and train them to our R&D engineers. Manage the relationship towards EMC suppliers ensuring a good relationship, quality, and cost. With your experience assist and coach R&D in designing first time right products. · Actively drive and influence design of new products in collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Delivery and Support organizations · Ensure compliance of our product specifications towards international and internal standards · Drive automation based on statistic-driven decisions within a team · Own and develop EMC compliance responsibility, test plans, and training · Support and influence first-time-right agenda of our company with your experience
Qualifikationen:
· A degree in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience with demonstrated skill in the disciplines required for the position (which may include measurement uncertainty analysis and calculations, electrical circuit analysis, RF analysis) · Programming skills with Python or similar is desired · Very good written and verbal communication skills in English, German language skills as a plus · Demonstrated interpersonal, intercultural and teamwork skills · Highly independent and pro-active work style and strong ownership · Interested in product compliance and safety
