Financial Controller (m/w/d)

We invite you to join the EMEA Financial Control & Accounting (FC&A) team to become the Senior Financial Controller for the manufacturing site in Grenzach (Germany). You will work closely together with the local site (business) controller and the financial control team located in Maastricht. Our total FC&A EMEA team of around 140 professionals is embarking on an exciting journey towards achieving ambitious goals, and we are seeking a talented individual who shares our passion for excellence and innovation. You will have the opportunity to deliver and execute the finance planning, actuals, closing and reporting activities for our manufacturing site in Grenzach (Germany), all while building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You also act as the service receiver for «finance actuals and closing services» as supplied by Financial Shared Services. First point of contact for all accounting topics for the site incl. ensuring that services are delivered by Financial Shared Services up to standard and providing all judgement-based content (e.g. accruals, provisions, corrections) to the shared service center Providing timely, complete, accurate and reliable financial reporting for the allocated entities Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Being the contact person for internal and external audits, including statutory financial audits Supporting management reporting, monthly reporting deck forecast/actuals and being responsible for (and analysing on) inventories, CAPEX and first line analyses and insights for actuals, forecast and budget and for setting up relevant allocation cycles in SAP Ensuring regulatory compliance and providing evidence for the internal control framework Preparing to plan figures (e.g. based on top-down guidance)
